High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire
A housing developer collaborated with us to create three new stylish homes on a derelict brownfield site in Downley, High Wycombe.
Each home features an entrance hall, cloakroom, living room with French doors, a fitting kitchen/dining/family room, utility, master bedroom with ensuite, and three further bedrooms served by a family bathroom. Additionally, each dwelling includes an attractive landscaped garden with off-street parking to the front.
In the design process, we were particularly mindful of the site's topography, which slopes from street level to the rear gardens. The design also maximises the beautiful views of the local countryside towards Hughenden Park, where the Disraeli Monument can be seen in the distance.
To enhance sustainability, all properties were built to exceed building regulations. Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery (MVHR) was installed in all properties, which provides fresh filtered air into a building while retaining most of the energy used for heating.
Construction of the homes was completed in 2022.
